Synopsis

Hidden in the mountains beneath Kunugigaoka Middle School, Class 3‑E occupies a rundown building where society's outcasts — delinquents and dropouts — are dismissed as unlikely to progress academically. Their fortunes change when the government assigns them a grim mission: eliminate a new instructor who has already annihilated the moon and now vows to destroy Earth by next March. The target, an octopus‑like being known as Koro‑sensei, can move at extraordinary velocity and withstand nearly all weapons, making assassination seemingly impossible. Despite his threat, Koro‑sensei proves to be an unexpectedly effective educator, training the students to improve academically while honing their skills as assassins. Under his guidance, pupils such as Nagisa Shiota learn through experimentation and perseverance to uncover possible vulnerabilities in their teacher — a race against time driven by the world's survival.
