Synopsis

In a tucked-away quarter of Harajuku, a hidden shop run by a witch is said to answer the unspoken desires of those overlooked by the world. Nina, a proud apprentice, embraces this role, working to grant clients’ requests while her own influence and abilities expand. As she attempts to ease people’s longings, she comes to realize that some requests carry unintended consequences and cannot produce happy outcomes. Forced to examine the complexities of human longing, Nina faces the ethical and emotional burdens that accompany a witch’s work, and her drive for greater power increasingly conflicts with her wish to bring solace to others.
