Synopsis

Chirico emerges from cryogenic stasis only to find Fyana missing, prompting him to set out in search of her. His efforts attract the scrutiny of a Nextant, the successor initiative to the Perfect Soldier project. Simultaneously, the church prepares to select a new Pope, and Chirico becomes viewed in religious terms as untouchable. One of the papal candidates has connections to the Nextant program, so Chirico's pursuit of Fyana threatens to trigger significant political consequences across both military and ecclesiastical spheres.
