Synopsis

Centuries after an assault by enigmatic Shadow Angels left Earth drained of life, humanity experienced a long respite when the invaders fell dormant. Following the catastrophic event known as the Holy Genesis, which devastated the planet, those alien assailants awaken again eleven years later and resume their life-harvesting raids. In response, a defense organization named DEAVA deploys a giant mecha called Aquarion. To unlock Aquarion’s full capabilities, three pilots must unite their hearts, bodies, and spirits as one—an alignment achievable by only a few. The program prioritizes finding individuals called Element Users to secure humanity’s survival. The narrative centers on Apollo, a rough, impoverished young man thought to be the reincarnation of a legendary savior. When his closest friend is seized by the Shadow Angels, Apollo joins the Aquarion pilots and confronts the burden of potentially altering the course of the conflict and liberating humanity from the recurring threat.
