Synopsis

In a calm countryside town, junior high football centers on Ashito Aoi, a talented yet impulsive player whose unpredictable, self-focused approach carries his team. During a crucial regional qualifier, an opponent provokes Ashito into a violent reaction that leads to his dismissal from the match. Stripped of their leading player, his team is eliminated from the competition. Facing the aftermath and doubting his future, Ashito is approached by youth coach Tatsuya Fukuda, who recognizes his raw ability and offers him a chance to try out in Tokyo. Thrust into a new environment among skilled peers, Ashito must confront his weaknesses and demonstrate his capabilities to earn a potential career-altering opportunity.
