Synopsis

In a surreal intermediary realm where souls pause before being reborn, Gudo serves as a guide for the recently deceased. While accompanying a young woman named Yuri on her passage toward reincarnation, he encounters human feelings that are foreign to him. Assigned by the deity Mira to assist Yuri in mastering her overwhelming anger and to avert her metamorphosis into something monstrous, Gudo sets out on a dangerous journey to help her confront and control those emotions without altering the natural course of her fate.
