Synopsis

Kouichi Sakakibara rejoins class 3-3 at Yomiyama North Junior High after missing the first month of school due to illness. He feels an immediate pull toward Mei Misaki, a quiet girl who wears an eyepatch and whom he previously encountered in a hospital during his absence. Oddly, no other students seem to accept Mei's presence; they caution Kouichi against engaging with things they insist do not exist. Ignoring those warnings, Kouichi grows closer to Mei and gradually uncovers unsettling reasons for his classmates’ unease. The students’ fear centers on a former member of class 3-3 and a dark incident they refuse to fully explain. Drawn deeper into the disturbing pattern affecting their class, Kouichi and Mei, along with their peers, pursue the truth behind the curse. As misfortune befalls those around them, they strive to piece together the mystery, knowing that resolving it will demand significant sacrifice and carry profound consequences.
