Synopsis

Nino Arisugawa, who hides her face behind a mask, stands at the shoreline each day singing a wistful tune. After enduring two abrupt separations during childhood, she continues to sing to the sea, honoring a vow shared with her two childhood companions: Momo Sakaki, her first love, and Kanade "Yuzu" Yuzuriha, a boy who wrote music. Neither of the boys encountered the other as children, yet both pledged that if Nino were ever taken away, her voice alone would guide them back to her. Six years later, fate brings Nino, Momo, and Yuzu together as classmates in the same high school. Time and change have altered their lives—Nino persists in trying to keep the childhood promise, Yuzu's old emotions for her begin to reemerge, and Momo takes active steps to stop any reunion. Through their shared connection to song, they confront lingering bonds and tangled feelings as they strive to rebuild their friendship and face the complexities of their intertwined affections.
