Synopsis
After a young Taiwanese operative known as "Glass Heart" attempts suicide by leaping from a building and is impaled on a metal fence, she survives thanks to an unexpected heart transplant. As she convalesces, vivid and unsettling dreams drive her to Japan in search of the organ's original owner, who is revealed to be Kaori Makimura, once the partner of Ryo Saeba from City Hunter. The creator clarifies in the first tankoubon that this story reuses City Hunter characters but does not continue that series; its narrative unfolds in an alternate continuity and is not a direct sequel.
