Synopsis

Angels, demons, and various supernatural beings inhabit the same world as humans without conflict. Neil Bowman, a demon fascinated by human ways and incapable of committing harm, deserts Hell and goes to Earth. He becomes the housemate of his online friend Ira Blood, a vampire, and moves into Apartment 1031 with Ira’s eclectic household. Neil expects to live among humans but soon learns that his new companions are all supernatural: Ira; Lynn Angel, a strict angel who manages the residence; Lynn’s younger sister Lily, who descends from Heaven; Abu, a silent mummy; and Vladimir Eliot Kirilenko, a werewolf assigned to watch over Neil. Unknown to most of them and to Neil himself, he harbors the abilities of the Demon King. The presence of that latent power begins to influence life at Apartment 1031 on All Saints Street, shaping interactions and raising questions about what his role will mean for his cohabitants.
