Synopsis

Enrico Pocchini, a warm-hearted pupil in Torino with a firm moral compass, begins a new school term only to have his cherished instructor replaced. The incoming teacher is strict and initially unwelcome, creating tension in the classroom. Over time, the boys come to understand and appreciate the new educator, and through their experiences with her they gain insight into affection, personal growth, and the value of human kindness.
