Synopsis

Sae Iwata never matched the fragile image of her peers; her larger frame and physical strength made her the protector of her gentle childhood friend and secret love, Kouki Kamishiro. Over time, Kouki grew more assured and taller, and their closeness faded. Near the end of middle school, Sae and Kouki find their way back to each other. Noticing that Kouki remains the kind person she remembers, Sae becomes aware that her long-suppressed affection has stirred again. She struggles to keep those emotions in check, a task that becomes harder when they are placed in the same high school class. What begins as an attempt to deny her feelings may lead Sae to accept that Kouki, whose presence seems to outshine others, could be the person meant for her.
