Synopsis
As a boy, Togashi dominates the 100 meters with effortless speed. In sixth grade he encounters Komiya, a transfer pupil who compensates for technical shortcomings with fierce determination. While coaching Komiya, Togashi helps him adopt a single-minded aim: to achieve victory at any cost. Time moves on, and when the two cross paths again as competitors on the running circuit, their rivalry forces them to confront and expose their authentic selves.
